Why we built this

Every social app in your pocket is optimized for scroll time. Notifications, streaks, engagement loops — designed to keep you looking at your phone, not the room. We think that's backwards.

SocialSpot is a quieter idea: you're already somewhere interesting. You're at a coffee shop, a rooftop, a house party, a conference. And so are other people you'd probably like to meet — if only you knew they were here.

How it works

• Radar shows people currently at the same venue as you.
• Map view zooms out to what's happening nearby tonight.
• Spaces let you spin up a gathering — public, or private with a password.
• Waves make first contact without asking for a message. If they wave back, you can chat.

Privacy first

• Sign in with Apple, or start as a guest — no email required.
• Ghost Mode hides you completely from the map and radar until you tap "Go Live".
• We don't sell your location, your photos, or your messages. Read the details in our Privacy Policy.
• Delete your account at any time, from inside the app.

SocialSpot Plus & promoted Spaces

We're a small team. To keep the app running honestly (no ads, no data brokers), we sell an optional subscription — SocialSpot Plus — and one-time upgrades that let hosts Boost or Feature their Spaces. Payments run through Apple and Google. We never see your card.
